Wonder Shower FAQ's
Q. Will the Down
Under Wonder work in any shower?
A.. Yes. The Wonder® Shower has a standard 1/2"
female pipe inlet so it can be installed on any standard shower fitting.
Q. Do I have to
hire a plumber to install my Down Under Wonder® Shower?
A. You can install it yourself very easily because it's
designed to be installed with very little actual plumbing work. The only time you need a
wrench is to remove your old showerhead. The Wonder® Shower comes with simple, easy to
follow installation instructions.
Q.
Can I install the Down Under Wonder® Shower on the shower arm my old showerhead used to be?
A.. Yes. Simple remove old showerhead, clean threads on
old arm and screw on your new Wonder® Shower. Use lots of Teflon tape so the
Wonder® Shower will tighten easier, allowing it to tighten in place with the wing nuts in
line with each other.
Q.
If we prefer, how hard is it to replace the old shower arm along with the showerhead?
A.. It's actually very easy. You simply unscrew the old
arm from the female elbow behind the wall, tape the threads on both ends of a new
1/2" x 2" L brass male nipple and screw one end in where the old arm came out.
Then attached your Wonder® Shower and you're done! Note: You will probably need an 8"
pipe wrench to loosen old shower arm.
Q.
We love our Down Under Wonder® Shower, however our youngest Son was home from college last
weekend and asked if there was a model with a longer extension arm available. Is it
possible to get a longer one?
A.. The Wonder® Shower comes with only one length
extension arm, however many of our customers have purchased the Wonder Arm to get
more length. It is just like the Shower except it has a 1/2" male adapter instead of
the shower head so you can attach the Wonder® Shower to it and double the length and
height of your Wonder® Shower.
